Freelancers on Gmail
Your personal Gmail calendar is your business calendar. Clients book around what's already there - no second calendar to maintain.
Google Calendar integration
Share a booking link that reads your Google Calendar before it offers a single time. Every booking lands on your calendar with a Google invite for your guest - and when plans change, both sides stay in sync.

Setup
Most people are live in a couple of minutes. The one step that trips people up is step two.
Use the Gmail or Google Workspace account that holds your calendar. You can create your Freeslot account with it too.
Google shows separate checkboxes. Leave calendar access on - without it Freeslot can't see busy times or add bookings.
Choose which Google calendar new bookings go to - your primary calendar or a dedicated one - per booking page.
Set your hours and publish. Guests only see times that are free in Google and inside your booking rules.
Busy-time checks
Freeslot asks Google for your free/busy every time a guest opens your page, and again the moment they confirm. There's no copied calendar to fall out of date.
Booking sync
When a guest books, Freeslot creates the event on your chosen calendar and Google sends your guest a calendar invite.
Who it's for
If Google Calendar already runs your day, your booking page should read from it - not from a separate schedule.
Your personal Gmail calendar is your business calendar. Clients book around what's already there - no second calendar to maintain.
Each teammate connects their own Workspace calendar, and shared pages route bookings by real availability. See team scheduling.
Keep personal reminders set to Free so they don't eat bookable time, while real sessions stay Busy and protected.
Demo and intro calls drop onto your Google Calendar with an invite, so prospects have the meeting on theirs too.
Office hours and parent meetings booked against the Google Calendar you already teach from - or run group sessions with seat limits.
Check work and personal calendars together, so a dentist appointment never collides with a client call.
FAQ
Yes. Any Google account with Google Calendar works - a free Gmail account or a Google Workspace account. Workspace admins can restrict third-party apps, so if Google blocks the connection, ask your admin to allow Freeslot.
Access to view and edit your calendar events, see your free/busy, and see your list of calendars - enough to check busy times, add bookings, and let you pick a calendar. If you untick calendar access on Google's consent screen, Freeslot marks the connection as needing a reconnect and your page won't take bookings until you allow it.
The calendar you pick for bookings in each connected Google account. On Professional and Teams you can turn on multi-calendar checks to block busy time from every calendar account you've connected - Google, Microsoft, or Zoho. Compare plans.
No. Freeslot uses Google's free/busy, so events set to Free - like focus blocks or reminders - leave the time bookable. Set an event to Busy if you want it to block bookings.
Not yet. Add your Google Meet link as the meeting location on your booking page, and guests see it on the page and in their confirmation email.
Freeslot treats it as cancelled. The next time it checks your calendar, the booking is marked cancelled, the time opens up again, and your guest gets a cancellation email.
If Google stops accepting Freeslot's access - for example, you remove it from your Google account - Freeslot emails you to reconnect and pauses bookings on that calendar instead of offering times it can't verify.
