Setup
Same flow for Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com - with one extra step if your company controls which apps can connect.
Use a Microsoft 365 work or school account, or a personal Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Live account.
Freeslot asks to read and write your calendars. If your organization requires admin approval, IT approves it once for everyone.
Choose which calendar in your mailbox bookings go to - your main Calendar or a separate one - per booking page.
Set your hours and publish. Guests only see times your Outlook calendar shows as free.
Busy-time checks
Freeslot reads your Outlook free/busy schedule and your booking calendar live, every time a guest opens your page - and again when they confirm.
Booking sync
Freeslot creates the meeting in the Outlook calendar you chose, with your guest as a required attendee - so the invite comes from your own mailbox.
Who it's for
If your day runs on Outlook, outside meetings should land there too - with the statuses your colleagues already rely on.
Take external meetings in the calendar IT already manages, with no extra calendar account just for bookings.
Clients receive a proper Outlook meeting request from your own address, alongside Freeslot's confirmation.
Candidates book screening calls into Outlook, and tentative holds for hiring panels stay protected. Route across interviewers with team scheduling.
Out-of-office and tentative time is respected, so clients only book when someone is genuinely available.
Advisors and faculty share office-hours links against the school Microsoft 365 calendar they already use.
Personal Outlook.com and Hotmail calendars work too - no Microsoft 365 subscription needed.
FAQ
Yes, both. Connect a Microsoft 365 work or school account, or a personal Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Live account.
Some Microsoft 365 organizations only allow apps an administrator has approved. Ask your IT admin to grant consent for Freeslot in Microsoft Entra ID. After that, everyone in your organization can connect without the prompt.
Busy, Tentative, Out of office, and Working elsewhere all block the time. Only events shown as Free leave it bookable, and cancelled meetings are ignored.
Not automatically yet. Add your Teams meeting link as the meeting location on your booking page, and guests see it on the page and in their confirmation email.
Yes. After connecting, pick any calendar in your mailbox for each booking page. Freeslot still reads your main free/busy schedule, so meetings on your main calendar block time too.
Yes. On Professional, Freeslot checks up to six connected calendars - Outlook, Google, and Zoho in any mix - before offering a time, so a personal Google calendar can block your work hours in Outlook.
Freeslot treats the booking as cancelled. The next time it checks your calendar, the booking is marked cancelled, the time opens up again, and your guest gets a cancellation email.
